Bloodborne's 'trick' weapons are seriously cool, snapping between two different forms with different move-sets and other qualities.īloodborne also has tremendous DLC that adds new monsters, areas and boss fights to the game. In fact, that's what unites these two great games: Their creative weapons. It's a great platformer filled with fun humor, fun alien planets and a wacky arsenal. And don't miss out on Ratchet & Clank either. In any case, don't miss out on Bloodborne next month. This makes sense, honestly, given that most PlayStation gamers have moved on to PS4 and that the Vita has always been something of a flop, sadly. Sony has also announced that a year from now, starting in March 2019, only PS4 games will be included as monthly PS+ freebies. The spiritual successor to Mega Man just didn't pan out, I guess. I haven't played any of the other games on this list, having avoided Mighty No 9 after hearing how awful it ended up being. I was absolutely hooked on the old Ratchet & Clank games so it's wonderful to have the original with modern-day graphics and controls. Ratchet & Clank is a fantastic remake of the original PS2 game. Ratchet & Clank is free in March for PS+ subscribers.
